Review by hotel critic
During our journey to Lake Garda, we found a serene oasis at Pension Hauenstein, nestled in the picturesque hills overlooking Merano. The setting couldn't be more tranquil, surrounded by lush orchards, making it an ideal spot to unwind and disconnect. One of the highlights of our stay was indulging in the spa services. The 1,400m^2 Spa & Vital Centre offered a range of wellness treatments that my travel-weary body craved. I found solace in the Finnish sauna and steam baths, ideal for relaxing after long days of exploration. The breathtaking views from the newly installed breakfast terrace further complemented the peaceful atmosphere. Without any distractions like a TV in the room and limited Wi-Fi, we truly embraced a slower pace of life. The well-designed garden and terrace areas added to the sense of calm, with sun loungers inviting us to relax a bit longer. If you're seeking a restorative break that allows you to connect with nature and recharge, Pension Hauenstein might just offer the experience you're looking for. It's a gem I'd consider adding to the list when recommending getaways to friends back in Canterbury.
